Dear Brethren all -- Well, witnessing such a splendid occasion yesterday at PGL in the University Hall I was proud to be associated with and a member of Vernon Lodge 560 and I thank the members for allowing me to become a member of it.
Its members were represented in fine style by brethren who have acquitted themselves in an exemplary fashion. A big thank you to those who assisted in the running of it both inside and out, under our banner on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master .
A special recognition to W Bro George Munro and Peter Stinton for their promotions also W Bro Ian Redfern for his first provincial appointment, Ian has done stirling work on the Lodge website and encouraging education with lectures, together with Chandar Lal for the manner in which he represented the Lodge as WM for the column formed in presenting the PGM designate. I have to mention the manner in which Frank Colwill carried out his duties as Prov G Pursuivant in opening and closing PGL.

What a fantastic lodge meeting I attended at Vernon on March 20th. If anyone wants to know what friendship and brotherhood is, they should have been with us that evening. Great to see all my Masonic friends again after almost seven years ! Hope to see you all again. If anyone visits Cumbria, give me a call.

Yours s.and f.,

W.Bro. Peter Argyle P.Pr.G.Swd.B.
